Batman sucks!!

Can I just tell you that I have looked all over this stupid town for a Batman cake! Think I found one??? NO!!!! I went to Walmart and they are out of the kit, so I went home and called Food Lion. They don't make Batman cakes. Next I called Piggly Wiggly (such a stupid name for a grocery store) and they are out of the kit, too! WHAT?! Do people not reorder around here?!?! SO that was a few days ago. Today, I went to Michael's and some other Party store to see if they had a kit or something with Batman for cakes, so I could make my own cake.......NO ONE has anything Batman!! What is with the Batman people?? Do they not make cake decorating stuff? All the other Superheroes are in attendance.....where is Batman?!?! OK, so after much frustration, I called Larry (who was with Jacob....AKA Batman fan) and had him ask Jake what would be his 2nd choice. He picked Cars. So back to Michael's, I find that they do have Cars! Woo Hoo!! Of course, the cake mold is a flippin' $12 and anyone who knows me knows that I am not creative (nor do I have any patience), so there was no way I was gonna decorate that thing!! So, Jake is getting a chocolate cake with chocolate icing that says "Happy 5th Birthday, Jacob" in red and white icing with little sugar Mater & Lighting McQueen guys all over the cake. he will also have a big fat Cars candle to blow out, too. Sheesh.....and all that was before I went shopping for his gift!! (and after Abe puked on himself in the car, but that's a whole 'nother story!). Oh well....wish me luck tomorrow at Chuck E Cheese....it's payday weekend and also a holiday weekend.....makes this town a freakin' madhouse....trust me, you have NO idea! :-) Hope that little 5 year old appreciates it! HAHA
